WHO AM IN CHRIST
WHO AM I IN CHRIST – A DAILY CONFESSION

I am a child of God. But to all who have received him--those who believe in his name--he has given the right to become God's children … (John 1:12).

As a child of God, I am a fellow heir with Christ. And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ)--if indeed we suffer with him so we may also be glorified with him (Romans 8:17).

I am adopted as his child Ephesians 1:5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—

I am born again⎯for I am born again of the incorruptible seed of the Word of God, which lives and abides forever (1 Peter 1:23).

I am no longer a slave, but a child and an heir. So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if you are a son, then you are also an heir through God (Galatians 4:7).

I am a new creature in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here!

I am a spirit being⎯alive to God (Romans 6:11;1 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Thessalonians 5:23). May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and
through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am an ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

I am part of a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people (1 Peter 2:9). But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

In love 11 In him we were also chosen,[d] having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,
